Bengale produces music videos, concert recordings, and promotional footage for album releases, working with record labels, managers, and independent artists. The studio has been based in Paris since 2016, with teams in Marseille and Porto.

We support your project from concept to delivery: director selection, budgeting, casting, set design, filming, editing, color grading, visual effects, and exports for streaming platforms.

From Concept to Music Video

A music video is built around a song and a visual concept. We start with your artistic vision and budget to recommend a director, a treatment, and a realistic shooting schedule.

For “1000 g” by the young artist Oré, winner of the 2019 FAIR Award, the collective La Sale Affaire created a Japanese-inspired urban world, featuring several characters, numerous sets, and elaborate costumes. The music video was shot over two days, then edited and color-graded by Bengale.

Album sleeves and cover art

An album release also requires photos: album cover, press materials, and social media. We handle the entire production process, from location scouting to on-site logistics.

For Sampha’s album *LAHAI*, the agency DoBeDo Represents entrusted us with the executive production of the cover shoot, which was photographed on film by the Durimel brothers over the course of two days in a van along the coast.

A lightweight, portable setup, designed to capture the most beautiful light at twilight.

Photos and videos can be produced together to maintain a consistent visual identity throughout the launch campaign.

Live recordings and sessions

We also film live music—concerts, sessions, and performances—using multiple cameras.

For Feu! Chatterton and Universal Music, we produced a 48-hour recording of a concert held at the top of the Montparnasse Tower, which was broadcast as the opening act for the U2 concert, using four cameras and RED Dragon equipment.

Editing, mixing, and delivery are arranged to ensure prompt release on the artist's and the label's social media channels.

Animated clips and generative AI

2D and 3D animation, along with generative AI, are opening up new creative possibilities for music videos, especially when the budget doesn't allow for building sets.

Our studio has mastered these tools for long-form projects, such as *Cycling Essential Stories*, an 11-minute animated documentary created entirely by AI and broadcast by HBO and Eurosport.

We can combine them with live-action footage or use them on their own, depending on the artist's vision.

Each video is delivered in the formats required by the platforms: 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for Reels, TikTok, and Stories, along with short clips for promotional purposes.
